Sourced solely from Beckstoffer’s Feliz Creek Vineyard in Mendocino, the ’75 Wine Co Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted by award-winning Amulet Estate winemaker, Shawn Johnson.
The Mendocino AVA is one of California’s premier wine regions and offers ideal conditions for growing Cabernet Sauvignon. The warm Mediterranean climate results in full-bodied, age-worthy wines. The Ukiah Valley boasts porous bench land vineyards below the Mendocino Range, where deposits of broken rock lead to gravelly loam soils and the Russian River.
After 12 months of a combination of neutral French oak barriques and stainless steel, the resulting ’75 Wine Co Cabernet Sauvignon offers aromas of kirsch, fresh cherry, rose petal, and vanilla. The entry is smooth and finishes long and precise on the palate with tannins reminiscent of cacao powder.
