Barbaresco Montersino DOCG
Ruby-red color with a rich, complex bouquet hinting at vanilla and red fruit, together with sweet and spicy elements resulting from the wood. Smooth on the palate with big tannins on the finish that prove excellent aging potential.

Aromas of smoke and spice with some peat and dried strawberries. It’s full-bodied, chewy and flavorful with firm, juicy tannins and a fine, linear finish.

The 2016 Barbaresco Montersino is laced with the essence of black cherry, plum, lavender, rose petal, cinnamon and menthol. Dark and brooding in the glass, the 2016 is a Barbaresco of gravitas. I would give it a few more years in bottle. There is a lot of character here.
