Fresh and incisive, with black currant, black cherry, cedar and bell pepper flavors picking up a touch of oak spice. The backbone of tannins is dense and refined, while bright acidity drives the long aftertaste.

Silky and opulent, this Tuscan red shows rich black fruits of stewed plums, blackberry coulis, but underneath, there is fresh earth, fresh-cut wood, and vanilla bean. The tannin structure is massive calling for red meat or time in cellar.

Fine purity and expression are the hallmarks of this black currant—, black cherry— and violet-flavored red. The texture and balance make this compelling, with a long aftertaste. Iron and spice notes add depth. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Colorino. Best from 2023 through 2038. 700 cases made.
