Although many fans of Pinot Grigio look to more northerly regions than Abruzzo for their wines, this will turn heads with its excellent value – especially when the fact that it was crafted from organically grown grapes is considered. It is light in body as expected for the breed, but with pleasing fruit flavors recalling Golden Delicious apples freshened with a squeeze of fresh lemon and underlined with a tinge of minerality.
