Tauleto
Named after the vineyard from which it is produced, Tauleto is made from specially selected clones that are densely planted and hand picked at peak maturity. The grapes are left to dry for a short period before beginning a temperature-controlled maceration in oak vats. The wine is then aged in French oak barriques and tonneaux. An aromatic bouquet of dark fruit meets complex flavors of cherries, ripe berries, and spice. Pair this well-structured wine with red, braised meats and aged cheeses.

A red with currant, black-olive and some vanilla character. It’s medium-bodied and round-textured with a fruity finish. Always a lot of oak here, but it’s delicious all the same.

Decanter - Commended
Vanilla, violets and spicy oak with lots of plummy fruit.

The nose is lifted and austere, displaying lead pencil, liquorice, mulberry fruit and nostril filling pungency. Mature, savoury, fully evolved and brilliantly assertive; there are hints of mocha, leather and dry spices in a velvety texture which is discreetly framed by tannins. Dry but very generous flavours, and just a hint of sweetness on the finish.

International Wine & Spirits Competition - Gold Medal - Best in Class
Dark crimson red to rim. The nose is like leaning over a dark country fresh water well, earthy scents, mineral, stony, some musky animal, balsamic, smoked meat, dried fruit and then the palate takes you with cherry cake, eau de vie, malty oak, a hint of tobacco and a drizzle of basalmic. The palate follows through with layer upon layer of complex flavours and textures drenching the mouth and leading to a fantastic long finish. Evolving sensationally and with much more to give.

This is a boldly extracted and concentrated expression of Sangiovese (with 10% of the Bursona Longanesi grape) that delivers steady and bold oak aromas. The wood influences will integrate as the wine ages in the bottle. Beyond all that spice and toast is a solid core of black berry fruit and prune.

This is a dark and impenetrable wine with a perfumed bouquet of pressed roses, exotic spice, wild berries and a touch of pipe tobacco. It tastes rich and sweet in the mouth and ends with a blast of fresh berries and spice.
Wine Spectator
Sweet and smoky, with hints of grilled plum, spiced black cherry, fragrant leather and bresaola, this aging red holds on, offering modest tannins and a light juiciness throughout. Drink now.
